We’re hosting a Composting Workshop on Saturday 21st June, 10am-3pm
The perfect excuse to use the words ‘poo’ and ‘wee’ as much as you want all day! Find out how to turn garden and kitchen waste into rich homemade compost, discuss the delights of manure and get down and dirty exploring The Community Farm composting systems.
Suitable for home gardeners and allotment holders aged 14+. Please come in appropriate clothing, and bring a packed lunch.
Led by Farm team composting guru Amanda Griffin (see Amanda in the Team section): Master Composter trained by Garden Organic with over 20 years’ experience of home composting and nearly 10 years of Permaculture practice. Self-confessed compost obsessive; has been known to get overly excited by productive wormeries.
